"Build the Tech"

08_ENG

DWG NO: LOSC-ENG-08
REV: 4.0 // FINAL
SCALE: 1:1

The ENG domain is the Cell’s technical problem-solver. We maintain the tools that maintain the group. From off-grid power systems to improvised tool-making, ENG ensures the physical "gears" of the LOSC continue to turn when the supply chain severs.

You are not a "Scientist"; you are a Maintenance Operative. In a crisis, elegance is secondary to function. Your job is to keep the generator running with zip-ties and prayer, to sharpen the SUS domain’s tools, and to ensure the COM domain’s antennas don't blow over. If it moves and shouldn't, or doesn't move and should, you are the final authority.

Power Systems: Photovoltaic maintenance, battery health, and fuel rationing for thermal/electrical generators.
Tool-Making: Fabricating essential hardware from scavenged materials. Maintaining the "Cell Workshop."
Structural Repair: Addressing mechanical failures in INF-built shelters or SUS-managed water systems.
Resource Scavenging: Identifying technical assets (motors, wiring, plumbing) in the local environment for repurposing.
// ICS INTERFACE: FACILITIES & TECHNICAL SUPPORT

When external contractors or municipal engineers arrive, ENG provides the System Schematic. Do not present a list of "broken things." Present a Technical Audit.

"The inverter is failing at the capacitor level; we have bypassed the grid to local storage." By speaking in precise technical specifications, you gain immediate professional trust and ensure they provide the specific components you need to stay autonomous.
