[PACKET_01_SEC]: PERIMETER & SENTRY LOGIC
OBJECTIVE: Create a "hardened" zone of awareness and deterrence.
I. THE O.A.K. LOOP
In a security state, every sentry or observer follows this cycle:
Observation: Scannng for "Baseline Breaks" (Noises, lights, or movements that shouldn't be there).
Analysis: Categorizing the break. Is it animal, weather, or human? Is it "Lost" or "Hostile"?
Kinetic: The action taken. Usually a signal to the Cell or a verbal challenge.
II. PASSIVE DETERRENTS
The Noise Floor: Spread dry gravel, dried leaves, or "crunchy" debris in approach lanes.
The Tangle: Use fallen branches or "dead-fall" to funnel visitors into a single, visible path.
Visual Breaks: Use camouflage netting or local foliage to break up the "straight lines" of your structures. Nature has no straight lines.
III. ASCII SCHEMATIC (ZONE DEFENSE)
Plaintext

[LOGIC]: Defense is a series of "concentric circles."
You want to identify a threat in Zone 3 to handle
it in Zone 2, before it reaches Zone 1.
IV. IMPROVISED SIGNALLING
Trip-Rattles: A thin fishing line tied to a tin can filled with pebbles.
Mirror Flash: Using a polished surface to signal the Cell across distance without electronic footprints.
Whistle Code:
1 Long: "All Clear / Return."
2 Short: "Visitor approaching."
3 Short: "Immediate assistance required."
V. LIGHT DISCIPLINE
Red Light Only: Use red filters on flashlights at night to preserve "Rods" (night vision) and reduce visibility from a distance.
Blackout: Cover windows with thick fabric or cardboard to prevent "light leak" that signals your position at night.
