Libera Federation Codex // Sections 01 & 02

Foundational Metaphysics & Legal Application

Section 01: Foundational Metaphysics

Does the Libera Federation have a religion?

Yes. In the most agnostic sense, it is Deistic and Animist. To specify this further:

Deism

We believe that God exists, but we can even relegate this to simply mean shorthand for "good reasoning." The Will of God is a synonym for good reasoning.

Animism

We believe that Souls exist, man has a soul. Or "God's will is for man to have free will, a soul." But we can relegate this to simply mean shorthand for: There is good reason for why this identified system is sufficient for having its own agency.

Section 02: Application in Law

Does this framework have application in our laws?
Yes. Absolutely.

Everything begins with a Man's Trust in God—or, translated into the language of the Codex: A living moral agent exercising sound reasoning to steward a specific property.

While the immutable laws of Reason (God) cannot be directly assaulted, a living moral agent is always permitted to challenge another agent's Trust.

Expressed as a legal principle:
A conscious observer has the sovereign right to challenge the alleged good reasoning behind another's stewardship.

Colloquially, when someone in the Federation says, "I don't believe you really trust God," they are not making a theological insult. They are stating:

"I do not believe you are stewarding this resource in alignment with objective reality and sound reason. Therefore, your claim to this property is mathematically invalid, and your ownership is unproven."

Section 03: The Primacy of Philosophy

Trusts are directly or indirectly produced from the Will of God. Consequently, any Trust directly produced from that foundational Will can be challenged by any conscious Man on strictly philosophical grounds.

Within this architecture, a man's philosophical argument functions as a direct legal argument for or against a Trust in God.

The Law of Ownership Source:

The true origin of property must always be philosophical, not commercial. While commercial legal instruments dictate how a product is traded or administered, philosophical arguments govern the source, mechanics, and validity of ownership itself.

No legal entity, and no property right, is ever indefinitely protected from a philosophical challenge. Bureaucratic walls, administrative statutes, and historical fictions cannot permanently shield an invalid premise from the universal audit of Reason.
